What kind of artwork or file do you need?

For the best outcome of your signage, we require vector files of your artwork. A vector file typically comes in a .AI, .PDF, .EPS, .SVG or .CDR file formats. While we can print from images, they may come out pixallated and low-quality. Images typically come in .JPG, .JPEG, .PNG or .TIFF file formats.

What is a vector file?

Vector files allow us to infintely increase and decrease the scale without affecting the quality, as each part is an individual layer. An image, typically referred to as a bitmap, may lose quality each time it is saved, and cannot be made larger without affecting the image quality drastically.

The easiest way to tell is by zooming into your artwork. If the edges are smooth, it is a vector.

What if I only have an image?

Depending on your image and the use-case of your signage, we may be able to get the image redrawn. This is an additional cost, and will add additional time onto the completion of your job. We can only get relatively simple artwork redrawn. We will be able to advise if your artwork cannot be redrawn.

How do I clean my car that has decals installed?

We recommend washing any areas with graphics using a garden hose and a water & mild detergent solution.

You may use a sponge or microfiber towel for washing. Rinse with clean water once washed to remove any excess detergent. Once washed, you may dry with a microfiber towel.

Using pressure washers or caustic/aggressive cleaning solutions will cause premature failure of the decals and will not be covered under warranty.

DO
  • Wash graphics with a blend of clean water and mild car wash or detergent.
  • Test any cleaning solution on a small section of the graphic before using.
  • Always read the warning labels on car care products before use.
  • Rinse lightly with clean water after washing.
  • Air dry vehicle, or wipe dry with microfiber cloth.

DON’T
  • Do not allow fuels to come into contact with the graphic. Clean all spills as soon as possible.
  • Do not use automated car washes, including touchless.
  • Do not use pressure washers near graphics.
  • Do not use any truck wash products or any caustic cleaners.
  • Do not apply any wax or polish to matte decals.
  • Do not use mechanical brush washing.
